NOTD: Independence Day Nails

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is well and had a great weekend. We get an extra day of holiday in Nigeria because it's the 52nd anniversary of our independence..yay! I was feeling really patriotic and created a manicure inspired by the colours of the national flag. It's not perfect but hey, I had fun doing it :-)

Do Not Try This At Home

For this, I applied two coats of a white nail polish (by Dierli) and then sponged on the green polish (by Colour Cosmetics). For a step by step explanation of the sponging technique used to create this Ombre like effect, read this post.

I particularly named this a Nail of the Day(NOTD) because I don't think my patriotism will carry the look past today. What do you guys think? Can I get off rocking this OTT manicure all week?

Peace and Love,
