OOTD: A Traditional Affair

I am from the Western part of Nigeria where Iro (Wrapper), Buba(Blouse) and Gele(Head gear) is the traditional dressing for women on special occasions like weddings, birthdays and church. I hardly ever dress like this because it is such a hassle, one can spend hours trying to perfect the length, breadth and height of the gele.

I decided to wear the full attire to church yesterday and my mum came through for me.She gave me this gorgeous ten year old lace and hooked my gele up.

Shoes: Julien McDonald

I really enjoyed wearing the full regalia and I just might start dressing like this more often :-)

Peace and Love,
