Review | Radha Beauty Skincare

Ladies...Glow season aka IJGB season aka Christmas is here and if there was any time to invest in some skincare, it would be now..

I was BLESSED to win a raffle draw from Youtopia Beauty at the WIMBIZ annual conference last month. I say blessed because out of all the hundreds of women in that room, it could only have been God that let my name be picked out. Just look at the contents below...just like they handpicked every single thing for me!! :) :) :)

I'm reviewing only the Radha Beauty skincare products in this post. I would have done it sooner but I wanted to give myself a few weeks to be able to get a real feel for the products...

Radha Beauty Vitamin C Cleanser

This cleanser is from Radha Beauty's Vitamin C range which is known to be effective at fading dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

I have been using this at least once a day since I got it and I really like it. It has a gel like consistency which makes it easier to penetrate the skin. I've found that even though this cleanser is gentle,  it is still really good at removing a full face of makeup.

Key Ingredients

Vitamin C - A natural antioxidant that protects cells from free radicals of aging as well as environmental aggressors like air pollutants and sun exposure. Vitamin C helps brighten, stimulate new collagen production, minimize fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

Rosehip Seed Oil - An anti-inflammatory that contains antioxidant properties to soothe, aid in restoring skin elasticity, and provide deep hydration.

Olive Oil - Provides dense nutrients vitamins A & E, minerals, and essential fatty acids, cleanses the pores of bacteria, and removes dead skin cells.

This cleanser is currently on sale for N9,500. Click here to purchase.

Radha Beauty Vitamin C Serum

The Radha Beauty Vitamin C serum is my product of 2016! When you are starting to approach 30's the most important item in your skincare routine is a serum. Serums offer intense moisturization which helps fight lines and early signs of wrinkling. The Radha Beauty serum is particularly great because of the added Vitamin C which means generally brightens the skin.

I have been using this morning and night before moisturising since I got it and I must say that my skin looks so much better!!! My pores and smiles lines have become less visible and my #GloUp has been real. I've been getting compliments and I think this serum has a big part to play. Love it!

Key Ingredients

Vitamin C: - A natural antioxidant that protects cells from free radicals of aging as well as environmental aggressors like air pollutants and sun exposure. Vitamin C helps brighten, stimulate new collagen production, minimize fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

Hyaluronic Acid: - As a booster to increase skin volume and fullness, it plumps and hydrates the skin for a youthful resilience.

Amino Complex: - A reparative complex that strengthens tissues, smooths out skin, and increases elasticity

Vitamin E: - Hydrates and protects from free radicals to reduce signs of ageing

The serum is currently on sale for N9,800. Click here to purchase.

Radha Beauty Miracle Retinol Moisturizer

I have been using this moisturiser as a night cream and it's everything you would want in a night cream. Rich and deeply moisturising. I also like that there is a pump at the top which dispenses product so you don't have to stick your fingers in the jar. I try to stay away from products in jars because not only do you transfer the germs from your fingers into the cream, constant opening and closing may cause oxidation and the cream starts changing colour. As much as you can, please buy skincare products that are dispensed through a pump.

The star ingredient in this product is Retinol which is also a known anti ageing ingredient. It enables the production of collagen which targets early signs of loose skin. I don't know about y'all but I'm not going to get caught slippin' in the ageing department yo! #ForeverYoung

Key Ingredients

Vitamin E - Known for its nutrient and antioxidant properties. It protects from exposure to free radicals and reduces the signs of aging by supporting collagen production and elasticity.

Retinol - Also known as Vitamin A, Retinol diminishes fine lines and boosts collagen production by accelerating the cell turnover rate. It deeply penetrates the skin to help unclog & shrink pores, thus leaving the skin glowing.

The moisturiser costs N12,000. Click here to purchase.

Radha Beauty Intensive Youth Eye Gel

If you know anything about me you know that I battle with eye bags and dark circles. It is one of the lovely gifts my mother handed to me- thanks Mum! -_-

I have tried several eye creams over the years and none seem to work. This Radha Beauty Eye Gel isn't any different, my bags are still popping! Maybe I need to use it for longer?

Is there any eye cream that actually works? Please let me know in the comments if you recommend any! Help a sis!

Key Ingredients

Matrixyl 3000 - Powerful, proactive peptides (sequence of amino acids) that work synergistically to regulate skin cell activity, stimulating new collagen and elastin production.

Hyaluronic Acid - Aids in increasing skin volume and fullness, a great natural alternative to cosmetic injections.

Amino Complex - A reparative complex to strengthen tissues, increase elasticity, and smooth out skin. It stimulates production of collagen and elastin for firm skin while retaining moisture for ongoing hydration.

Vitamin E - Known for its nutrient and antioxidant properties. It protects from exposure to free radicals and reduces the signs of aging by supporting collagen production and elasticity.

The eye gel is currently on sale for N8,000. Click here to purchase.

Overall, I think Radha Beauty is a great brand and I am pleased with the results so far. The products are gentle, free of any bad chemicals and suitable for all skin types in my opinion. Price wise, they are neither the cheapest nor most expensive. Most products are between N8,000 and N15,000 which is decent for the quality.

I'm going to keep using it and will repurchase everything except probably the eye gel.

Have you tried anything from Radha Beauty? How are you getting along?

Peace & Love,

Y.
